There are some use cases where this will come in handy for sure (such as throwing together a test script, or single use conversion script). Are we going to be able to do that within a component as well? Just like in Java, there are times when there's a tightly coupled sub-component and it might make sense to tie everything together (I'm thinking of use cases where you basically just want an enhanced data structure).
