Over the years, I've made decisions on how to write code, and I'm fully aware that other people in other organizations have made different decisions. So that's what makes me entry level as well.

I understand you're saying entry level as in entry into a new company, but that phrase already has a defined meaning in the job hunting world. If you have several years of experience, then you're not entry level. As say this as someone who is a senior level programmer that makes less than entry level pay. I feel your pain.

Well, I understand over qualification because they are afraid that you will soon find greener pastures. I look at it differently though. To me, it means give me a chance and I’ll show you what I can do.

I agree with Tomy. I actively disregard CVs that are clearly for ppl overqualified for the role we're offering. And Brian's point about "entry level" has meaning, and one can't simply decide "well in my mind I think of something different than that".
