Hi Adobe friends, I assume Java 17 support is going to eventually come to CF2021? Is there an estimated timeframe for that? Even with CF2023 coming in the near future, we are in a bit of a bind with our window to upgrade, so 2021 is our only choice, and we have internal requirements to use Java 17 across these environments very soon. That is unfortunate to hear. I do realize CF2023 has support and have tested this locally, but for our company, we are entering a busy "season" with our clients where we will not be able to focus efforts to ensure our application runs on it without issue. We can test Java now, but without a fully released version of CF2023 as well, we cannot risk incompats. I don't anticipate such things, but it is not for me to decide in the end. We are currently using Java 11 and while security support will continue for some time, we have other requirements calling for us to upgrade to Java 17 which includes in house libs shared by our CF app. We're on CF2018 at this time, have long tested CF2021 in preparation, wanted to skip to CF2023, but based on what our account manager at Adobe shared the other day, it sounds like it will not be out in time for us to test before busy time. Seeing as CF2021 is a supported version, I was hoping newer versions of Java would also be supported.
