Are there any online logging services like HoneyBadger that could be used for CF error logging?
s
We've used Sentry and Rollbar
I like Sentry a lot

I'm using Raygun.

Raygun is best

I see a lot of love for Raygun. For pure error logging in prod I use Bugsnag - which does the job, but its been on my list to look to see if there are better options worth the minor effort of switching. In terms of production log tracking - across a server farm - I use Papertrail for the MANY Lucee/tomcat (and other app servers in my stack) logs. In dev - for a log file multiplexor - I am super happy with Zac's extension 'Log Viewer'. That plus LuceeDebug has made my dev process a ton easier.

Thank you!! I have used Raygun in the past, but not in while. Even forgot it was there. đŸ™‚
@Anders Lars how did you integrate bugsnag? I am looking for a pure error logging solution in prod. I just checked them out but I am not seeing any CF/lucee integration. Do you have some type of java class that is talking to bugsnag?

oh that’s cool! Thank you
I am guessing nothing really changed in bugsnags api in 8 yrs.. lol

ha - I am sure it has. Stuff like breadcrumbs and feature flags. It has been working for me, but I do need to refocus on it.

Bugsnag is free for 1 seat and 7.5k monthly events - https://www.bugsnag.com/pricing so if you aren't sending a ton of stuff their way, you could try that. Not saying it is better than any other service - except possibly better than BLHQ given it's state of inactivity.

Bugloghq is history now It’s not maintained and even the guy who developed is not willing to push any changes if anyone wants to take overdo it’s kind of done
