allowing you to use the latest installer with older versions, so you can then go an install the latest java / tomcat combo with an older (or newer) version of lucee

04/28/2023, 2:48 PMWhen you say "so you can then go an install the latest java / tomcat combo" - do you mean actual latest, or latest supported by Lucee 5/ 6? Still won't work on latest Tomcat right (servlet namespace change issues etc)?

04/28/2023, 2:50 PMyeah still tomcat 9. each time we do a stable release we update the installer to use the latest java 11 and tomcat 9 release. this lets you use that installer to say install 5.3.8.201 or 6.0.0.381 with the latest java / tomcat. the older installers bundle older versions
