I am curious what terminal is shown in use in the output of the
info
command, but I assume this boils down to how bash is being started by VSCode

somehow I installed git bash into vscode, but I did that a long time ago
when I run commandbox in a separate git bash terminal that's not integrated into vscode, it works fine

git bash works fine when I just run git commands, but I assume it's using std ascii
