An SQL statement walks into a bar and sees two tables. It approaches and asks β€œmay I join you?” #happyfriday

I feel bad that I chuckled at that. πŸ˜‰

I wanted to chuckle, but I got side-tracked by "An SQL..." instead of "A SQL...".

It depends how you pronounce it: β€œA C-QL” or β€œAn S-QL”.
a
Indeed. If you pronounce it correctly(*), then it'd be "an". The MS DB product? "sequel server" (because they're dicks). Any other usage? "es-kew-el". Otherwise yer a weirdo. (*) don't start.

"Sure", says one of the tables, signalling the server for attention, "inner, left or right?... Unless, of course, you're full."
