Is there any way to update the Deployment Type of a CF2021 server? If so, how?

I have never needed to change a deployment type, but I would assume you need to re-install CF and install it with the new deployment type... but interested to see if there is another way that doesn't involve a re-install

I would also really like to avoid a re-install

I don't have any live servers that I want to mess around with this on, but I would assume if there was a way to edit it without a re-install, it would be on the licensing and activation screen in the CF admin. I can see on my local dev that there is a way to put in a Key, but I have no idea if, when you put in a valid key and click activate, will it prompt you to select a different deployment type?

Yes, I noticed it wasn't updateable from the ColdFusion Administrator UI. I was just curious if anyone knew another way to update it.

When you say "we can", I'm unclear what that means. Do you mean you would do that remotely?

@mtbrown Apologies for the delay, here you can change the Deployment Type. Go to \ColdFusion2021\cfusion\lib and take the backup of "_*licenseinfo.properties*_" and there change the Deployment type and restart ColdFusion to take effect.
