It looks like nobody uses this channel, but it seems like my question belongs here. I'm using the CFML Language extension by KamasamaK in VS Code. It seems like it doesn't do symbol searching in tag based components, only script based, is that true, or is there a way to make it work for both.

I haven't written a tag based component in quite a while but that sounds correct. You can use https://cfscript.me/ to help convert the code to script syntax, if that's an option.

Actually no I haven't tried those yet. It isn't a big deal, and most of the new stuff we write is script based so maybe it won't matter, but maybe I'll try those other extensions. Thanks for the help
