Hello, all. We're moving servers and have valid ACF Enterprise serial numbers. But when choosing to Activate via CF Admin by entering the serial number, I'm getting an activation error; can anyone provide insight? Going to the licensing endpoint URL provided results in a 404 error, FWIW. Thanks in advance for your help.

◦ There is no internet connection. Ensure that you have an active internet connection.

◦ There is an active internet connection, but the licensing endpoint, https://coldfusion.adobe.io is not reachable. You can get in touch with your IT team to allow access for the same.

◦ There is an active internet connection, but the licensing endpoint, https://coldfusion.adobe.io is down. We recommend re-trying activation in some time.

• Ensure that you address these issues and re-try online activation in some time or use the offline mode of activation.

The Licensing and Activation page allows you to manage your ColdFusion licenses and track usage of the instances.

have you made sure your servers can access the internet? You can try the Updates page in CF Admin or maybe write a little test page that does a

cfhttp

call. If those work and the activation still does not, you'll probably need to contact Adobe support.

Thanks @chris-schmitz. The issue was that I was accessing the CF Administrator via a browser that was not running on the server itself. That is, I was managing the site via its port-8500 management page using my desktop's browser instead of remoting to the server where the instance is running and running the browser there. Once I loaded the admin page in a browser actually running on that remote server, everything worked normally.
