These are my items for tonight's meeting (see thread due to Discord character limit):
Administrative stuff:
  - No group the next two weeks d/t Snow College finals
  - Does anyone plan on using remote voice channel for meetings? (please comment on this message if you want to weigh in but won't be at the meeting)

Walkthrough of the current user group chatting mediums:
  - Entire list of chatting services: https://culug.group/contact/
  - All chat deployment files: https://gist.github.com/heywoodlh/9d558bfdd1936d72b0847ac2e7572f2a
  - Note: Stoat Android doesn't do push notifications

My homelab Claude Code deployment:
  - My image: https://hub.docker.com/r/heywoodlh/claude-code-webui/
  - Kubernetes deployment: https://github.com/heywoodlh/nixos-configs/blob/master/flakes/kube/manifests/claude-code-webui.yaml
  - Claude Code PRs on my repository: https://github.com/heywoodlh/nixos-configs/pulls?q=author%3Aheywoodlh-bot+
  - Agentic tooling seem to require a lot of VRAM (i.e. my 16GB Intel Arc GPU doesn't seem to cut it)

Linux gaming updates deep dive:
  - See thread
Feel free to thread on this with any items you guys want to talk about. Also, I will be opening Discord voice channel at 6:00.
Linux gaming updates deep dive:
- I'm using CachyOS kernel, settings, and Proton on my NixOS setup: https://github.com/heywoodlh/nixos-configs/commit/0799a471384c5553ffb0c41e4d2bc93aa9399bae

- CachyOS kernel (packaged for Arch and NixOS -- probably not available on Debian derivatives, sorry): https://wiki.cachyos.org/features/kernel/

- CachyOS settings: https://github.com/CachyOS/CachyOS-Settings

- Proton CachyOS: https://github.com/CachyOS/proton-cachyos

- CachyOS gaming wiki: https://wiki.cachyos.org/configuration/gaming
  - CachyOS maintains a list of common issues and their Proton environment variable fixes: https://wiki.cachyos.org/configuration/gaming/#environment-variables

- On newer games, I've found these launch options help (on my Nvidia system):
  - Enable Vulkan DirectX 12 compatibility: PROTON_VKD3D_HEAP=1
  - Enable NTSYNC (Linux kernel module for more closely emulating Windows syscalls): PROTON_USE_NTSYNC=1

- If you dual boot Windows and Linux, you can conveniently boot into Windows boot entry via systemd: sudo systemctl --boot-loader-entry=auto-windows reboot
Sorry for using code blocks for all of this, Discord is formatting stuff weird.
