yup, there's some movement on the core team side as well to allow us to have a smooth experience!

To me it makes no sense to build the container on my own although I am able to.

We agree, it's unfortunately currently a requirement based on how the frontend code is generated, and that is a topic the core team is addressing via some changes in configuration architecture
