Does anyone use Cal with zendesk? My company is noodling on ways to have a drive-up service desk QR code point users to a calendar and the built-in Google scheduler is a little janky — I'm wondering if there's a better way to do this cal where after the booking a rich Zendesk ticket is created

You can probably take advantage of webhooks. It has rich data and I personally use it with n8n. I'm sure you could use a Zapier account to translate the data into something you can use

our company banned zapier 😞 but yeah webhooks was one idea, it's just tough when there's no tool. we have tonkean as a replacement but it's not the same

Oh that's upsetting 😞. Another way you could do is forward the email to Zendesk. It's not rich, but it does have the information.

not dynamic, right now it's just supposed to point poeople to where they need to go, we're not having a typical service desk anymore. and while it's annoying I get why, many of the platforms don't seem to have sso/scim/granular security policies/logging
