🟡 Difficulty Navigating New Playground UI
# questions
g
Perhaps I got too used to the old UI, but I can't seem to find many things in the new Playground - Token usage is missing, test history cannot be accessed without rerunning the test, data is redacted etc. Am I missing something here? https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1253172394345107466/1534286423119626310/image.png?ex=6a739314&is=6a724194&hm=2df9e2429c48255e13b332d4d9fa8f43e566ea448e26372eea6292397ec888e1&

It's definitely not polished for the same workflows you are used to, and that's on us. We've been making the playground support different cases and haven't had the time to add the obvious ones in old BAML. I'm adding an issue on this; shouldn't be a problem!

No worries, noted
I know we're close to launch, figured I'd ask anyway - Got an ETA in mind?
I may need to use good ol print to test and debug in the meantime

I’ll do this one in the weekend for you :)
Update: Some of the data will come from a new Agents/LLM functions feature we demonstrated in the Sheep Council that we really should wait to land before adding, but I'm making some additions with what’s possible already. I’ll need some of tomorrow to merge!

Understood. Thank you!

Okay, Aaron just merged his agents work! This will unblock me. I'll keep you up to date :)

Thank you once again! If you don't mind me asking - Is Aaron's new work about BEP-064?

Yes, @GRâ„¢ , andthat has landed. Two things are at play here: this new AI/agents work and the telemetry system. Both have landed. We've updated the playground (latest nightly) with work on the latter. Antonio is currently working on bringing new AI functions into the new profiler as we speak. We should be unblocked once that lands. I haven't forgotten about you yet! this is literally at the top of my to-do list :) We're planning an entire refactor of the playground very soon.
in the meantime, is there anything in your current workflow that has a lot of friction that i can try to address? hopefully, it doesn’t conflate with these recent changes.
