I joined after thinking about this talk and checking out the baml page. Very sneaky/effextive to pitch your company by saying slop is ok, if on solid foundations, and solid foundation == baml. I enjoyed the talk. Does it make sense to write agentic workflow logic, like something I might currently do in LangGraph instead in BAML? BAML seems like a good place to encode that kind of logic, based on what I've read so far. Agents could call that workflow logic, and the components used in the workflow could also be composed together. I know the pitch was as a language for agents, but for what I'm thinking through, it also seems useful as a DSL for agentic stuff πŸ€”

If you check out the latest site, we’re def thinking a lot about how to do agentic stuff better in BAML as well πŸ™‚
Non deterministic systems are still our top priority!

Oooo I like the code-driven evals that look like regular unit tests πŸ€”
