Which model do you use?
Can you try enablig the proxy in playground settings and reloading the window
You can check the “webview tools” in command palette in cursor to see whats being sent
Also verify you have the same verson of baml in vscode and cursor

This is similar to one of the general queries mentioned < BAML Playground error Repost because the thread was named badly. New error in the playground: Unspecified error code: 2 error sending request If you haven't yet, try enabling the proxy (See API Keys button) Request options: {"model":"claude-haiku-4-5","max_tokens":2048} code runs local so no issues with API keys or other i/o that I can see. Just checked and verified BAML is running from the correct directory. Proxy is enabled. >
