I'm also on 0.214.0 so it's possible that i need to update for that

also just to reiterate a couple points of feedback (1) would be nice to have the call stack completely gone when stacksize==1 (which for me it is since not using traces currently), and also some way to more easily access LLM Request section - if my parameters include a list of dozens of chat messages then i have to scroll halfway down the panel to see this section - and to me thats the section i care most about, often the only thing i want to see, 2nd thing i care to see is (raw) response idk about other people who might have different usage patterns but the structured INPUTs are far less relevant to me that the perceived input i.e. actual raw string input. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1406858241337593876/1465845129259646996/image.png?ex=697b3ee8&is=6979ed68&hm=3b9c9d33f68c6fff334db121298c7f1fa8beb9ee33997d93569ad7cdece77c4d& https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1406858241337593876/1465845129532149884/image.png?ex=697b3ee8&is=6979ed68&hm=c349150a219987d043841baad14381041d2e3ba8d1cdd97d95863baf464f04f2&

also with regards to tracing more generally, it would be cool to capture our agent turns as traces but the interface of "pass an async function as the traced function" doesnt really work at all with our architecture, if there was a way to track traces by passing some trace ID to baml options on a call instead then we could actually use it

studio is down? https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1406858241337593876/1466677285569695819/Screenshot_2026-01-29_at_22.11.19.png?ex=697d9d2a&is=697c4baa&hm=9fdfa05b4da3b6851f29a8c535e5af30504a21dd82db4b92ae9d4b6441eb6cca&

navigating to an existing trace url directly does not seem to open it and just goes to the main traces page? makes it very difficult to keep track of and diagnose old traces e.g. that i keep as part of bug reports etc

Integrate Studio as a capability into the baml CLI tool to facilitate iteration by tools like Claude Code. Is this on your roadmap?

Is studio working? I follow the instructions [here](https://docs.boundaryml.com/guide/boundary-cloud/observability/tracking-usage) but am not seeing anything in studio.boundaryml.com

A lot of my traces in the dashboard are missing the final user message passed to input, but then they are shown in the old dashboard. I thought it was a bug in my code but it just wasn't showing up the trace. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1406858241337593876/1468016798036267186/Screenshot_2026-02-02_at_14.53.25.png?ex=69827caf&is=69812b2f&hm=7bad1d396425ef74c5cf8b6fed35e151e60c3058fd5d540f5c34cc6e3c0c9801& https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1406858241337593876/1468016798350708756/Screenshot_2026-02-02_at_14.53.41.png?ex=69827caf&is=69812b2f&hm=2ee41daf76a03d9410fcb97099db8247c77d652532dc1d606a187e0f52b1b8d6&

The main advantage of the dashboard for me is to serve as a SOT for what the LLM sees, so if its not accurate then it makes issues very difficult to debug

We are going to open source our cost estimate configs. We have an engine that indexes into http responses from providers and uses that to calculate costs. If anyone wants to improve this and flesh out the calculations properly let us know! Below is a sample file:

BAML Should Prioritize Agent-First Tooling Over SaaS UI

Fixing a client-side application error on studio now. Patch is going out

Changelog: - Updated performance of most queries significantly. E.g. loading the callstack should take < 1 second - Reverted a change that showed relevant highlighted spans in a callstack. Will be adding that back in hopefully today.

Changelog: - Many more performance improvements - Added function versions so you can track whether a specific function call is related to a different deployment - Many UI fixes / streamlining - Fixed 'load more' not working properly - Fixed cases where traces wouldnt load due to a database isssue (our client wasn't using the right compatibility setting) https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1406858241337593876/1474238780138328186/image.png?ex=69991f5b&is=6997cddb&hm=bccf0b16b2697bde6058f8f4df85afa25c0e4fa63fefb4780ca9d5d29a7aa8db&

Hey all, with the migration/depreciation of studio v1, to studio v2, could I get a full export from my studio v1 org?

thank you

Some of my traces are showing up with no raw input section.. does this mean there was something wrong with those requests? For what reasons might that get omitted?

Is there a way to get the trace url directly from a baml client call? Trying to log the url so it's more easily viewable in our systems

How to copy the completed error message? I want to use it for retrying https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1406858241337593876/1482347452836347984/image.png?ex=69b69f25&is=69b54da5&hm=682373a56f6534b1d4f3a0aa589f58afa2805dd853dc032d68f72e43aaa12eb6&

No need, I've retrieved the complete error content through the script

It seems impossible to delete a project that has already been created?

Hey, for this client not able to see cost in the BAML Studio. also is there a way to view graph of input and output tokens ? like i want to know input and output totals during some time period client AzureOpenAI5_2_Chat_sw_Chat { provider "azure-openai" options { base_url "url" api_version "2025-04-01-preview" api_key env.SW_AZURE_OPENAI_API_KEY max_completion_tokens 8000 prompt_cache_key "tgy-v1" } } https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1406858241337593876/1486758665150136340/Screenshot_2026-03-26_at_9.37.09_PM.png?ex=69c7fce8&is=69c6ab68&hm=9f99cda07aadd265fe8b82705b939cb59fb2ff8a65cb331a286278cfac782870&

Changelog: - Added full text search of inputs and outputs - Fixed issue where export test wouldn't work if your type was a map input - Lazy load cost calculations to improve loading speeds

Hi! Is there a way to export results from Studio? We're trying to build reports/dashboards beyond what's immediately available via the webapp

yes!

we are actually onboarding people to this recently before we do a more GA of the feature 🙂

are you around for a discord call anytime today?

just join Office Hours whenever you get a chance https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1406858241337593876/1511496147951161535/Screenshot_2026-06-02_at_3.25.53_PM.png?ex=6a20a9fb&is=6a1f587b&hm=45a6bc15d2d13de69d1e0e8850190ae1d96463f9b21edfe74ad1772e05bc7888&

Ooh! I'll join in like 10 minutes!

is baml studio still an offering? couldn't find it online
