Hello! I'm writing to share some honest feedback about Botpress's new pricing. For customers based in Brazil, the new rates are very hard to justify: each additional conversation now costs R$ 3.38, and in practice this means my bill will simply double. That kind of jump adds up quickly and makes the platform difficult to sustain in our market. It feels like Brazilian customers weren't really considered when these prices were set. I've valued using Botpress, but given these new pricing policies I've already started researching alternative platforms. It's a sad day.

it's clearly not for brasilians only don't worry @enough-crowd-31021 , i think they've made a shift in the strategy , and their ICP is not the same anymore One thing i liked with Botpress is that it was the only platform out there that was transparent with pricing (events, you pay for the IA consumption you really have), now one conversation costs the same whether there are 1 or 10 messages, there's a new AI budget for conversations that's hidden and that we don't know and that doesn't make sense at all to be honest I think it's also because of the new product that comes with the new pricing, botpress desk, but i mean that's clearly a new type of customer they're targeting i guess

@wooden-beard-40210 yeah, that tracks, feels more like a full strategy/ICP. honestly i'm just relieved i only have 1 bot running on Botpress out of the several i've got. i was actually about to build the rest here too, but with all this uncertainty about where it's heading, i'm putting that on hold. At the end of the day it feels safer to just consolidate everything in n8n and never have to deal with a company switching its ICP on me again. at least there i'm the one in control of the stack 🥹

if you already had a plan, can you keep the old pricing? and theoretically keep making bots on the workspace?

Yep
