Hi everyone! I’m building an automation to sync SOPs from Google Drive to a Botpress Knowledge Base. I’m a non-developer consultant building this for small businesses, so I apologize if I’m missing something obvious. What I’ve built so far: • Make.com detects when a file changes in Google Drive • Make.com downloads the file • Make.com sends a webhook to Botpress • Botpress webhook triggers an Execute Card • Execute Card runs successfully The only thing not working: Getting the actual file content into the Botpress Knowledge Base using client.uploadFile() What I’ve tried: 1. Passing Google Drive URL to client.uploadFile({ url: ... }) → 403 error, Botpress can’t authenticate with Google Drive 2. Sending file binary directly in JSON webhook body → JSON breaks because PDFs contain special characters 3. Using toString() to encode the binary in Make.com → sends literal variable reference, not actual data 4. Using toBase64() in Make.com → may work but worried about payload size limits for large PDFs 5. Trying to upload directly to the S3 uploadUrl from Make.com HTTP module → consistent SignatureDoesNotMatch error regardless of content-type header used My current Execute Card code is attached. My question: Has anyone successfully synced external files (from Google Drive or anywhere else) into a Botpress Knowledge Base automatically? What was your exact approach? I don’t need it to be Make.com specifically — any working method would help. Even a high-level description of the approach would point me in the right direction. We have a google drive integration, also you can manually upload files in the kb!

Hi Ross, thank you! This is amazing — I didn't know this existed! I've done manual uploads, but want to automate it. I just installed it and see the OAuth connection screen. Once I connect it, will this integration automatically sync files from a specific Google Drive folder to my Knowledge Base when they're updated? That's the main thing I'm trying to achieve. @User — when I set up the Google Drive integration it only let me select a single file, not a whole folder. I need to watch an entire folder of SOPs and sync any file that changes to my KB. Should I be using the syncChannels action for this? And does the Download File Data card with Index File toggled on automatically add files to a specific Knowledge Base?

that is currently not a feature of the google integration sadly, however it will be added in the near future 🫡

I've tried the Files API uploadUrl but keep getting S3 SignatureDoesNotMatch errors when trying to upload from Make.com. Is there a working method you'd recommend?
