Pass URL parameters to workflow variables - iframe...

Hi, I'm using the Botpress webchat v3.6 embedded as a fullscreen iframe. The iframe URL looks like this: https://cdn.botpress.cloud/webchat/v3.6/shareable.html?configUrl=... My page URL contains custom parameters like ?sam=HYP224&cabinet=Nantes What is the correct way to pass these custom URL parameters into workflow variables inside Botpress? (to make them readable for the autonomous node and send them to zapier). I also wanted to get the full content of the user messages. I've tried updateUser({ data: ... }) but the variables are empty when the workflow runs. Thanks you for your help! https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1496499646946607184/1496499648737579081/image.png?ex=69ea1b67&is=69e8c9e7&hm=993263e636106a6c1854b8cc7e0c94ebff3de5e2bdad72a0856b430f453e7e0d&

Are you trying to read the conversation? You are not meant to use the webchat URL as a variable on your workflow @fast-carpenter-47376
What exactly are you trying to accomplish

Thank you for your feedback. The general idea is the following: The user receives the chatbot link by SMS. If they have a question, they click the link and open the chatbot. The chatbot is supposed to know the name of the medical place and the type of device given to the patient. At the end of the conversation, the practice name, the device type, and the messages sent by the user are sent to Zapier (a connector) in order to be stored in a Google Sheet. The method I tried — which may not be the right one — was the following: Each patient had a personalized link containing the location and the device reference in the URL. This link redirected to an HTML page. But then I got stuck, because Botpress does not retrieve the URL parameters, so it cannot pass them along afterwards. I’m not sure if this explanation is very clear, but I really appreciate your help 🙂

Have you tried sending a custom webhook? The documentation is here @fast-carpenter-47376

Yes it works! But now, I've got some difficulties to send them to Zapier...

We have a zapier integration are you using it? Here is a guide 🙂 https://botpress.com/docs/integrations/integration-guides/zapier
