Country code does not get registered in Phone Numb...

when somebody writes +32 (for instance) my phone number variable does not capture the '32'. When somebody writes 32.... so without the '+' symbol it does register it correctly. Why is this? I tried implementing a AI task with this instruction: Normalize the phone number exactly as entered. Return ONLY digits as plain text. Rules: * Remove spaces, dashes, parentheses, and dots * If the first character is
+
, remove ONLY that
+
* If the number starts with
00
, remove ONLY the leading
00
* Keep ALL remaining digits exactly the same * NEVER remove country codes * NEVER shorten the number * NEVER convert to local format * NEVER keep only the last digits * NEVER infer any country code * The output must contain every original digit except formatting symbols but it keeps on getting the phone number wrong. Can somebody help me please? How can I make sure that phone numbers from all over the world get captured correctly by my Capture Information phone number card?
OK I fixed it by changing the variable input from Phone Number to open text. That kind of beats the functionality of Phone Number imo but it is fixed

It might be because the "Phone number" Variable input automatically assumes the "+" ? Either way thank you for pointing hat out Timo 😄 Good fix for the time being
