how to make the conversations session based
# 🤝help
b
my tester reported that they started a conversation from account1 then logged out of that account and logged in to another account, but the conversation from account1 was still there any way to prevent this behavior?
also when the messages and events limits gets over, the chat window just gets stuck in loading, is there no other better way to handle this
l
Hey @better-refrigerator-38990 🙂 Have you tried clearing cache?
b
yeah figured botpress is saving user details in localstorage and sessionstorage, clearing them the only way? if yes no worries already implemented that
the other two issues ive sent are pain points
l
For pain point #1 The best practice would be to avoid this situation. Respecting rate limits, limiting payload size, etc. There isn't an exact way to handle the loading.
for this issue, I would have to dive into your bot, would need your workspace ID please

is there an event i can detect in that situation that when its true i just dont inject the bot script on my site
l
i'll look into this and get back!
that message seems to be appearing 1 hour ~ after the user does not reply could be the inactivity timeout
You can set a proper one and have it shorter to:
im asking if you can figure out the 'how can i assist you today' spam
thats the anomaly
That isn't occuring anymore from what I see
this is my old conversation
that "spam" seems to be the conversation started trigger but as of now its turned off
b
yea it only happened once but i thought ill see if its something diagnosable, np tho probably some outlier

You can’t listen for an event before the Webchat script is added. Events are only emitted after the script has been loaded and initialized
