Question about initramfs
# questions
s
I created ../files/system/etc/modprobe.d/i915.conf which I can see in my local image in /etc so it appears I did that right. in my recipe.yml I added
- type: initramfs # Regen initramfs to enable GuC/HuC
just before
- type: signing # this sets up the proper policy & signing files for signed images to work fully
I can see on the build it picked up the initramfs from the recipe but when I update locally and run the following command
dmesg | grep -i -e 'huc' -e 'guc'
I get nothing back. I can locally
rpm-ostree initramfs --enable
the i915.conf on the machine and that works fine. Any ideas?

Or… how can I add it as a karg instead?

You'll want to make sure that
initramfs
is run at the end so that it captures anything that would need to be included. You can make use of the [kargs module](https://blue-build.org/reference/modules/kargs/) for setting kernel arguments if that's something you need

Perfect, I’ll do it as a karg thanks. I just couldn’t find that page for some reason
