Are you familiar with virtual environments? If you are, this comment will seem trivial. If you're not, I'd recommend setting up a python virtual environment for each python project. I usually run

python -m venv ./venv

to create a folder called

./venv/

in the root of my repository. The I run

source ./venv/bin/activate

to add that

./venv

folder to my path, and then

pip install ...

to install python libraries into that folder. Thereafter, you can run

source ./venv/bin/activate

each time you go to work on that bentoml project.

how did you install bentoml? If you use conda then you might have to do

conda activate
