Has anyone tried setting up a gRPC client with the latest version? (1.2.9) Simply following their example here (https://docs.bentoml.com/en/v1.1.11/guides/grpc.html#client-implementation) for a Python client will invoke these lines of code which will raise an exception:
Copy code
with httpx.Client(base_url=server_url) as session:
    resp = session.get("docs.json")
What I instead did to bypass this, was to create a client like this:
Copy code
bentoml.client.SyncGrpcClient.from_url("localhost:3000", kind="grpc")
But this invokes a function on a class that does NOT have this function:
with GrpcClient._create_channel(...)
which I solved by calling
with SyncGrpcClient._create_channel()
instead (in file
bentoml._internal.client.grpc.py:SyncGrpcClient.wait_until_server_ready()_
. Am I doing gRPC clients wrong or are there several mistakes in the BentoML code for this client?
