hey <@U02C2CT8X6G>! Yes, we are building an env manager feature that should make this CI process a lot easier, here’s how the API would work:

)

result = server.client.predict( pd.DataFrame(..) )```
Basically user can choose to start a Bento server locally either from current python environment, a virtual env, a conda env or a docker container, all form the Python API

The API client part is being worked on here: <https://github.com/bentoml/BentoML/pull/3028> and env manager will come next

we are also working with a community member on a built-in testing template, that allow users to define test cases together with the service code and optionally bundle it with the Bento for CI tests <https://github.com/bentoml/BentoML/pull/2968> this PR is still a bit early, we plan to wait until the client and env manager feature to go in first
