I feel like I must be doing something wrong here, but I'm not sure what it is... Select fields are always super tall on the first render. If I reload the page, they size properly. It seems to be related to the
inline-flex
Tailwind class but I can't quite figure out what's going on or how to resolve it. I'm using tailwindcss-ruby 4.3.0, and avo 3.31.2. My
package.json
is presently empty, so I don't think it's interference from some other dependency / plugin... Any chance this is a known thing? https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1138182212655788054/1509786164574556250/image.png?ex=6a1a7170&is=6a191ff0&hm=c4e99b2d5206330f635d2cd1d68da2b6213d71ccaf59e8f3a7d6932bf3ba4e50&

Hi there, is not a know bug, first time seeing this
Have you done any tailwindcss integration? https://docs.avohq.io/3.0/tailwindcss-integration.html
c
I missed that! I'll go through it now! TY!
> Error: Can't resolve 'tailwindcss/base' in '/Users/jonathonfrisby/Unity/Games/3DTDF2P/api/app/assets/stylesheets/avo' Hrm. Based on that page though, it seems like maybe I'm using the wrong version of Tailwind... ... .... ... Downgrading to tailwindcss-ruby 3.4 did not fix the issue. Buuuuut.... I have an idea.
So, I stripped out tailwindcss-ruby / tailwindcss-rails entirely and I still see the same thing. I'm not mucking with styles at all. Basically, there's no UI in this app except for Avo at the moment. Lemme see if it happens on Chrome (I'm on FF).
It's Firefox-only.
Safari is unaffected.
Rather than try to fix this by adding complexity to my setup, I'm just gonna punt over to the Avo 4 beta.
l
Is that Firefox only?
I'll try to verify and reproduce it tomorrow
Cant reproduce it on my end
c
Sorry, yeah it's Firefox only. I'll try and pin things down further when I get a chance.
