One of our costumers logs in to our application with SSO and gets this error in his console:
Error: [E011001]: Request is malformed SSO not supported for domain: example.com - Received tenant from request, but it does not match any pattern Error:
any idea why this could happen?
d
Looks like they are trying to login with an email with example.com domain, is that their domain?
Do you have a tenant configured with that SSO domain?
o
nono, i have censored the domain and changed it to example.com haha
just to not send customer data on this channel
d
Oh ok :) Can it be that the domain they are using is not defined as SSO domain for their SSO configuration?
You can check that in their tenant settings SSO configuration
o
Thats what I suspect to be the root of the issue. Since they are using entra with 365 we get 3 different possible login domains which is very weird. I have now added the 3rd one, maybe its that
The thing is that they still manage to login, but we experience them having no display name whatsoever
And that might cause weird behavior in the system

Yes it might be that that company users use different domains to login, so they are not sure what to use when they are trying to login in your application (the SP side)
