It depends on your preferences really- we created the integration between the RØDECaster Series and the Wireless series because it can make your wireless recordings a bit simpler, with less cables, and no need to recharge your reciever after recording. In terms of range, the range of the Wireless GO II is around 200 meters, so it's the extra range you might get from using a cable might not be significant. But at the end of the day, it depends on what works best for you 🙂
