I’ve been pondering the additional virtual inputs/outputs at work, thinking about how to effectively implement them. VB VAC currently seems like the closest current comparison, but I don’t think it’s been updated since 2010, it’s been incredibly fiddly, and was likely the primary source of my previous workflow woes. I think one of the best solutions would be to have a utility to adjust and allocate only as many channels as are actually needed to cut down on bandwidth and latency. Likewise, having a utility that can take exclusive access over an input source, I.E. Mic/Capture Card, and transmit the audio directly and exclusively to the RCP2 for processing would likely help cut down significantly on latency and resource usage.
