If you'd like to remove your RØDE mic from UNIFY you can click on the x above the icon of the mic.

WHy are all of my virtual channels like this? Should I boost it all up to zero, or just leave it like it currently is?

Leave them like that. Increasing their gain will make them louder, which is not what you want generally.

    I may want

But are there disadvantages with doing that? Other than the volume going up?

If you want to experience for your self you can test them and see what happens.

What happens if I plug my headset into the mic while I have unify open?

Can I just plug my headset into that, and hear what unify is playing or do I need to plug it into my pc directly?

The headphone jack in your mic has one important purpose- when you speak into your mic, there will be very little latency, which means you can hear your voice in your headphones with no delay. you will still be able to hear everything else.

I am pretty sure that Windows media player is tied to Unify’s built-in player. Basically, you can't have both running. I've run into the same issue, but I don't really use WMP to worry about it.

If you are recording into Unify you play within it or as mentioned above you use VLC.
