It’s both indeed, we recently added the
apply
job to be a merge requirement on GitHub PRs and had to remove
mergeable
(we had both), otherwise atlantis would not run
apply

There is a flag to exactly avoid πŸ₯šπŸ” problem - https://www.runatlantis.io/docs/server-configuration.html#gh-allow-mergeable-bypass-apply. However, it only works if you are using branch protection and not Rulesets and if you have relatively simple branch protection

Hi everyone, thanks for answering !
I was curious about it because for some reason, i was able to apply even if my PR was not approved (Im on Gitlab side, i should probably use MR instead of PR lol)
Nvm found the problem, optional approval in gitlab
