Hi everyone! I hope you are all enjoying a restful and relaxing week off! We are excited to welcome everyone back on Tuesday for our summer session! Lots of important updates regarding nationals as well as some reminders for summer session: • The first round tentative schedule that outlines the days and times for routines for Nationals is now live on the Nationals Website. You'll find the following information: ◦ Our usually check-in and rehearsal schedule per routine. This will also include the awards ceremony times in gray as well as the showcase finalist announcements in red. ▪︎ Please keep in mind that these days and times are still subject to change! We have received 4-5 different versions of the projected schedule and tentative schedule to date and things are still fluctuating. To my best knowledge, these days will likely stay, though the times may continue to shift and change over the next week or two. In my experience we usually get about 3 version of the days/times before they reach the final version ▪︎ Please note there are two stages at nationals - be sure to double check which stage your dancer's routine is performing on. Pink Emoji ◦ Additional you will have our "Visual At A Glance" Schedule that lays out the full week's events in a more visual layout If you have any questions please feel free to post them here for our team or our veteran national parents to chime in. There is also an FAQ section on the nationals site that may also be helpful! For Summer Session: • Friendly reminder that the last two competition rehearsals are mandatory. We work hard each season to put our competition rehearsals primarily on Thursday to make for easier travel for our families and students • If you are changing a class, or adding/dropping an elective, please kindly remember to send us a slack message so we may process this update. This includes dancers who were enrolled in Hip-hop II/III during the fall/spring and would like to switch to hip-hop IV over the summer. I did take several days off to recoup from recital 😅 but am back online for a few hours a day and should be able to assist! Thank you for your patience 🙌🏾 So excited for our final 4 weeks leading up to nationals!! (I will make a recital post and send the videos we played at the show to everyone tomorrow or Tuesday morning).
