Attached are the scoresheets for our routines this season. I'm only able to send the scores as one large file so you'll see scores for all of our competition teams. When reading the scores to your class please only read the scores for that dance. At the top you will see what the required score for emerald, ruby, and diamond was based on each of the divisions

When watching these with my class I personally always show the routine once with the audio muted just so we can talk about what notes we have ourselves based on what we are seeing before watching it again with the judges audio turned on to see their thoughts as well. The logistics minded person I am has yet another spreadsheet for you. Here are all of the scores for our routines and how many additional points they needed to achieve the next adjudication up (let me know if you notice anything that's incorrect as I did this really quickly)

Attached is the detailed schedule for this weekend! It's going to be a jam packed fast-paced weekend so please review it and let me know if you have any questions! Please pay close attention to the notes section as it will let you know if your routine has to change and return backstage immediately, or if they will have time rehearse/get notes from you before checking in back stage. I will be staying backstage 95% of the day so if you need me you'll need to text my phone or send someone backs stage to let me know what's going on. If you have an extended break between routines I may have you scheduled to help walk littles from the dressing rooms to the backstage area after they've finished changing for their next routine. See the notes section for details on this. If you have this job I will also give you a list of how many dancers are in each dance so you can check that everyone is accounted for before you bring them backstage Please review the schedule and let me know if I've overlooked anything or made a mistake somewhere 🙂 So excited for competition #2!! Happy Friday competition staff! All detailed notes/critique videos are live on your dancer’s google drive now! You may find the link to the videos below if you’d like to review them as well! Corrections from Tuesday classes are already live and Wednesday/Thursday classes should be up by the end of the day. If you have a soloist or duet/trio that hasn’t received one of these videos I will be recording theirs next week. I will also post the video of the dance itself with music (no corrections) as well this afternoon in their folder. Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Competition Staff! Just a quick note that we will be sizing dancers for competition jackets today so we will need to borrow your students for just a few minutes of class time today We will also need you to try on jackets as well so that we may order to correct size for you 🙂

Hi Competition Company Fam! Quick updates as I’m running out the door to make it to my 4:00 private time: • As always, we do not receive final schedules until 7-10 days before competitions. I know you all have lots of scheduling things to organize in order to be at competitions, but please wait until we receive the final schedule to ask for your dancer’s performance time. The number of times per day I have to respond to parents’ phone calls, texts, and emails every day letting them know that I will not have the schedule until 7-10 days prior is in the double digits, so I super appreciate staff also waiting until the 7-10 day window before asking for scheduling! It really helps lessen the number of questions I have to respond to. • KAR is the only competition that sometimes sends out a tentative schedule and I do not release it because it almost always has large scale changes take place between the tentative schedule and final schedule. I’ve gotten word today that they are at near final so I will meet with each of you today to review your tentative times. These times are still not final. Do NOT share these times with any students or families • I will also touch base with each of you on your proposed summer schedule times today as well (if you are teaching this summer) and also on preferences for next season • I have more updates but am out of time and will send those later this evening during my break (:

Hi Competition Team! Great job at competition this weekend! I am still working on compiling all of the data into the normal breakdown spreadsheet that I make for everyone. I should have that sent out for you all tomorrow. Scoresheets and critiques are up! I’ve created a teacher account for each of you that will allow you to log in and see the scoresheets and critiques from each of your dances. You should have been sent an email this afternoon with log in information to access your account. Let me know if you have any issues or questions on how to access those There are only 6 rehearsals remaining until our final and largest competition of the season. If you’d like to take this week to go over your scores/critiques, talk with your dancers on how they did this weekend, and take time to decompress with your groups that’s great, however please do make sure that by next week they are getting refocused and prepared for Nationals We will be putting together the recital finale for our end of year show next month so I will start having classes come together for the last 5-10 minutes to run the finale together starting this week. I will only need competition groups this week, but will start bringing in the recreational classes too starting in June! Competition audition materials are going out this afternoon for dancers to start preparing for auditions next Friday. Dancer’s may have questions for you on the combinations but I have asked them to wait until before or after class to ask so they are not disrupting your classes. If you’d like to give them time at the beginning or end of class to run their audition combinations you’re welcome to do so, as some dancers may not room to practice full out at home Let me know if you have any questions!!
