Hi everyone, I have an issue with one of my actors. I priced it at $20 per 1,000 runs, but I now have over 1,000 free users and 0 paying users. The dilemma is that there have been 5,090 successful runs resulting in $0 revenue, while those runs cost me $60. Since I'm losing money on the free tier, how should I handle this? Thanks!

Is the $60 in costs apify platform costs or external third party ones you use in your actor?

1000 free users? If we put away issue of fake free accounts created by scammers you should protect your actor yourself by limiting free users number of runs, easiest one would be (which I started to use frequently) setup the tiered pricing so expensive for free users they will be able to make max one - two runs for those $5 and they are finished

@Elallam Jr I reported similar problem last week regarding one of my actors. Poke community managers. its clearly abuse and they usually are able to identify and delete those accounts soon after. But third party costs are your own to eat as per Apify TOS.

Offt that's rough and yeah looks like abuse :'(. I had the same happen to me, since then i've added limits to my actors for free users. For more expensive third party apis I also limit the number of results to try to prevent this. https://apifyhub.com/guides/free-tier-limits Dosen't fully solve but has helped me alot!
