hi! i would like to know how to configure the input schema for actors when using mcp (streamable_http). thanks! i hope my issue is understandable.

thanks for your help but i want to be able to configure input params client side for example on claude, cursor, etc... from what ive figured, directly uploading the input json along with the prompt helps. or maybe using agents.md, skill.md, etc.. can help too

The MCP server already handles this automatically. When your AI agent connects to https://mcp.apify.com, every actor tool includes its inputSchema built in the agent already knows the required parameters. You don't need to configure anything client side. You can add agent skills to teach the agent how to use the tools properly. This gives the agent domain knowledge about which tool to pick and what inputs to pass beyond just the schema structure. The schema is already there by default. Skills just make the agent smarter at using it.
