Hello guys, using my pulsar client in nodejs, when I subscribe to topics using the

topicsPattern:".*"

option, I am able to read messages from the

public/default/<ALL_TOPIC_NAME>

but when I create a new topic for example

<tenantName>/<namespaceName>/<topicName>

I am unable to see the messages unless I do a direct subscription to the topic without using the wildcard. Any suggestion/solution to this please?

I’m not sure if the nodejs client works the same but in Java there is a

patternAutoDiscoveryPeriod

property on the consumer which controls the frequency for discovering new topics for the consumer
