Hello. Can anyone provide insight into the overall strategy for deploying open source/community models? For some time, architecture R&D was directed towards a Kubernetes deployment model. As a result, Stream Native developed a K8 Operator with a community license. However, the Stream Native Operator Community License was discontinued. This raises the potential risk that at some point, a functional Pulsar Cluster on K8 might not be achievable because some foundational components could become proprietary software of Stream Native. Until now, it was simply a matter of combining components like ZooKeeper, Bookies, and Brokers. There's nothing wrong with Stream Native wanting to monetize its efforts. However, I've noticed that the architecture steering committee hasn't provided a clear message about how the open-source Kubernetes model will hold up over time.

This is a fair concern and worth raising during the next Apache Pulsar community meeting. Feedback from users such as yourself would be valuable input into the decision making process.

Hi @Marek Prochera: I am new to this community. Can you share more about the license change you’re talking about? Will be great if you can share a link.

Lately people started to maintain the helm chart
At the end it’s about contributing code right ?
People need to chip in and do it
That’s the difficult part
