TableView consumes from a compacted topic that is created when the TableView consumer first connects. My guess is that this compacted topic doesn’t exist on the standby cluster.

I understand. But even if the compacted topic doesn't exist (because i didn't run a compaction on this topic on the backup cluster), isnt it suppose to read from the main topic instead?

If that is true, reading the data from the main topic would take some time. How long are you waiting for the TableView to respond before deciding it isn’t working?

Oh thats a good point. I was waiting for several minutes. That can explain it because tableView probably reading the whole data at first before sending it to the actual client. Ill check it again. Thanks
