If you are just trying to collect data on the edge and send it to Pulsar, you might want to consider a different technology that is complementary to Pulsar, such as Apache MiniFi. With MiniFi, you can collect data on the edge and forward the information to a Pulsar cluster. Plus, you get the benefit of message prioritization, etc.
