@Chaoqin Li looks like a bug to me.
AuthenticationDataKeystoreTls
does not implement
getTlsTrustStoreStream
.
c
Thanks @Alexander Preuß Is there workaround to make this works without changing the code?
a
@Chaoqin Li I think you are missing the config "useKeyStoreTls". It needs to be true. Its basically going to that point in the code because, this is returning false: https://github.com/apache/pulsar/blob/branch-2.10/pulsar-client-admin/src/main/jav[…]pache/pulsar/client/admin/internal/http/AsyncHttpConnector.java

Thanks @Apurva Telang, But I already set "brokerClientTlsEnabledWithKeyStore" = "true", is there anything I missed?
a
@Chaoqin Li That would work if the component you were configuring is the broker or the proxy. In case of the Client, that config will not work. From the above code and stack trace that you linked, I am guessing its the Client that you are trying to configure. if yes, then "useKeyStoreTls" is the config that you need to enable. For 2.10.X configs you can find the configs here: https://pulsar.apache.org/docs/2.10.x/reference-configuration/#client https://github.com/apache/pulsar/blob/branch-2.10/pulsar-client/src/main/java/org/apache/pulsar/client/impl/conf/ClientConfigurationData.java

I am configuring the broker, the issue is standalone fail to start because broker client failed to authenticate. @Apurva Telang

Oh I see. Thanks for the clarification. My bad then.

@Tboy Could you please help take a look at this issue?

The same issue with #21076, but only fixed for proxy side #21077. I will push a fix for the broker side .

Thanks @Tboy for the investigation, it seems that this error won’t occur if I disable function worker service with -nfw
