These are all client side latency metrics. Over at brokers, we do not see produce latency spikes. Even the max latencies are within 25ms

Do you have partitions on the topic? How many?

to reproduce the issue passing the

--message-key-generation-mode

, not sure if it will behave properly. Have you reviewed if the issue happens too with version

2.10

? Do you have a small program to try to reproduce it? I will try to do it on my side and reproduce it.
