Hello Allen, Hope you’re doing well. Can you please let me know about the issue that you reported about the node Datastax driver. I’ll take a look and see what’s going on. Thanks
d
@Allen O'Neill, you can take a look at StreamNative’s cloud host offering. We have customers that use NodeJS in production w/o issues. Can you share what issue(s) you are having with the NodeJS client, along with the client and server versions? Thanks!
c
I’ve used DataStax with Node.js with no issues. Let me reach out directly.

Hei @Allen O'Neill I guess you’re using the Pulsar Client Node 1.8.0. Unfortunately that version has a bad issue about TLS hostname verification: https://github.com/apache/pulsar-client-cpp/pull/126 I suggest you to downgrade to the 1.7.0 client Another suggestion is to add this line of code on your application to have more log details:
Copy code
Pulsar.Client.setLogHandler((level, file, line, message) => {
    console.log('[%s][%s:%d] %s', Pulsar.LogLevel.toString(level), file, line, message);
  });

That is correct. I just tested this on my macbook and the 1.7 version works. @Allen O'Neill let us know if this solution works
