Hi, do range indices not work with metric columns?

I have two copies of the same table. One has a column as a metric-column and the other has it as a dim-column. Both have range indices on the column in question, and the table with the metric column does:
```FILTER_FULL_SCAN(operator:RANGE,predicate:colname &lt; '10')	```
Whereas the table with the dimension column uses the range index like expected:
```FILTER_RANGE_INDEX(indexLookUp:range_index,operator:RANGE,predicate:col &lt; '10')	```

are you using the latest version of pinot? I fixed a big about a year ago where they weren't being used for raw columns.

On master, I changed the tested dimension columns to metric columns in `RangeQueriesTest` and verified the range index was being used

Yeah it is the latest version.

I think in some cases it is using range indices and in some not. I'll try to file an issue if I am able to get a repro.
