Hey folks, we are upgrading our clusters from 0.10 -> 0.11. This required upgrading Helix version from 0.9.8 -> 1.0.4. But after upgrading, we saw all Helix related metrics are not getting pushed anymore. Any idea if there is any specific change we need to keep in mind to get back the metrics.

Why not upgrade to 0.12?

Our few clusters are on the latest master as well. There as well we see Helix metrics missing. So it's something with helix version i think. On a side node: Is it not okay to stay on 0.11? Any stability issues we can get?

Hi Mayank, we are running Pinot verison 0.10 now in production. We will do +1 version upgrade to ensure forward/backward compatibility.

@Ting Chen where did you see this Helix metric? is it from controller or server?

I don’t see this metric in our running servers either. Let me ask some Helix POC to check whether this metric is still being emitted or not

I’ve already synced up with the Helix POC on that and he’s actively investigating it now
