Swagger is not auth compatible. Use postman or another kind of tool to provide basic auth during request 😉

Swagger definitely supports basic auth, https://swagger.io/docs/specification/2-0/authentication/basic-authentication/. The UI will come with a little lock that pops up a window to type the password in. Maybe submit an issue for this? The spec needs to have the security field set in this case
