Another question, what is the recommendation for migrating realtime segments from one pinot server to another (different cluster) ? For migrating offline segments we are using segment uri push method. Please note that the migration should be idempotent.

Ok. We are using https://docs.pinot.apache.org/build-with-pinot/ingestion/batch-ingestion/segment-upload#uri-push to do offline segment upload. Can we use the same for realtime as well ? If so, 1. The realtime segments will be uploaded as offline segments ? 2. If I re-run the same API again and again, will it create duplicate segments/records ? Also, will the name of segments getting moved from realtime to offline changes everytime when we call the API (segment uri push) ?

1. No, segments are not realtime or offline, that is a table type. You can push to both table types. 2. No, same segment pushed multiple times won't cause duplicates, controller checks for that.
