Hi I am excited about evaluating pinot but I am running into a problem

I am building the project as follows

mvn clean install -DskipTests -Pbin-dist

did you run

./bin/pinot-admin.sh QuickStart -type BATCH

Yes it will ignore them because they run of predefined configs. You can run instead run the services individually and pass the configuration to each services. You can also run them in docker compose where you can override the port

So when I run each manually and pass in the values it uses 9090

run ./bin/pinot-admin.sh to see all the commands that start each service

so the conf files have not effect/

if you run the QuickStart command, the conf files will not be used. You need to start each service and pass in a configuration

you can modify the configs as needed. if you want to see data, you’ll need to load it yourself. If you want to test the baseball data, it can be found in the pinot repository

yes, create a schema and offline table. then create a job.yaml file to load the data into using

LaunchDataIngestionJob
