Hi team, does pinot supports pushing data from real time table to offline table out of the box through some configuration? Or is it a manual process and should be managed by user through controller API's?

do you mean at the same table? that is what we do by default. it is what we call to commit a segment

@Gonzalo Ortiz yes to the same table. I have defined a real time table and offline table using the same schema.

Also, a realtime table has segments that are open for ingestion and segments that are committed (they are not going to be modified). Segments can be committed manually (using controller APIS) but can also be committed automatically when some conditions happen (max rows, max time, etc). Once committed, these segments in realtime tables are identical to segments in offline tables
