Hi Pinot Team, we are evaluating pinot for one of our projects with big data requirements. As part of that, I have couple of questions. It would be great if someone could help me here 1. Is it possible to directly connect to pinot using DSN like url and write from my GoLang application in bulk instead of using streaming/ file based writing. 2. Is there any documentation around how to insert, commit, etc operations that can be performed from Golang application? 3. Is there any managed version of pinot available right now instead of us managing the infra which seems to be heavy for a startup.

Hi @Gopi Bathala, Thank you for your interest in Pinot. Please see the answer to your questions below: 1 & 2: Pinot has a Go client which allows user to query a table in Pinot (https://github.com/startreedata/pinot-client-go). However, being able to write to a Pinot table is currently not supported. 3. StarTree provides a managed version of Pinot which allows customers to focus on building Apps while their infra is managed by StarTree. There are some additional features provided by StarTree as well (https://startree.ai/advantages). There is a project Write API, which will provide an endpoint to which applications can write data to.
